The Banda School

The Banda School is a privately-owned multinational British preparatory school. It is situated along Magadi Road in Langata, opposite the Nairobi National Park. It dates its origin to 1956 where it began as Kaptagat Preparatory School – named after an urban center near Eldoret. It officially opened as The Banda School in 1966.

The school offers the British learning system, a curriculum that identifies with various other international schools in Kenya. Their syllabus is in line with the National Curricula of England with the Common Entrance Exam. It also has a weekly boarding option.

Banda School is a member of the IAPS and is accredited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) for British Schools Overseas (BSO).
